Our Sprout to Scholar™ curriculum blends play, discovery, and learning to prepare children for a lifetime of success. We’re looking for a dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our team and support our mission of high-quality early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Support lead teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom.

• Assist with daily routines including meals, nap time, and transitions.

• Engage with children through play, reading, art, and structured activities.

• Help maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety standards.

• Communicate effectively with children, staff, and families.

• Provide nurturing support to help each child feel valued and respected.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with young children and supporting their growth.

• Prior childcare or teaching experience preferred, but not required.

• Ability to work well as part of a team and follow classroom routines.

• Dependable, positive, and energetic.

• Must meet NC childcare licensing requirements (criminal background check, TB test, CPR/First Aid training – training can be provided).
